Razor Sole Skate

Razor is back with a new skate concept--the Sole Skate. A one (and a quarter) footed skateboard, it is compact enough to fit on or in a bag for travel.

Inexplicably marketed at the stunt skateboarder, this would be interesting in and around workplaces.

Orbit Wheel skates

Similar to the ObliqO but with each foot moving independently, the Orbit Wheel skates are a pretty simple technology.

I dig the simplicity; you could toss a pair in your bag and ride them to and from the subway pretty easily.

Might be worth picking up just to see their hubless bearing design...

Hubless wheeled skateboard

And for once, there's a benefit! To ride the ObliqO you put one foot inside each wheel and do a scissor motion with your legs; kind of like the RipStik or the Snakeboards from the 80s.

Board-skate Xlider

Board-skate Xlider - Tasem Co., Ltd.

Who needs the middle part of a skateboard anyway?

"Utilizing high-friction rubber, the rider is completely secure and safe, even though they are not strapped in." Well, thank goodness for that!
